Ski jump hills were erected on the northern slope of the Ještěd Mountain back in the 1970s. They bear the hallmark of Miloslav Bělonožník, long-time Chairman of the FIS Ski Jumping Committee. At the present time, root-and-branch reconstruction aimed at building state-of-the-art infrastructure is being completed at the facility. The success of the reconstruction and modernization was proved by the smooth running of the FIS Word Cups which took place here at the beginning of the year.
This regulations for visitors contain instructions issued by Organizing Committee FIS NORDIC WSC 2009 with a seat in Rumunská 655/9, CZ - 460 01 Liberec 4, which establishes basic rules how visitors should behave during the World Ski Championship Liberec 2009 at both Vesec and Jested venues including handling the equipment there.
