I really like snow ploughs

Snow plough is a special band vehicle that is intended to be able to move and drive in snow. It is meant to be able to be operated in steep terrain to set up white track – both cross-country skiing and down hill skiing.

Weather plays a key role

One of the most important factors when a World Ski Championship is being prepared is taking into account what the weather could be like. The Organizing Committee WSC Liberec 2009 has been cooperating with the Czech Hydro- meteorological institution with its seat in Ústí nad Labem since last year‘s World Cups. The interviewed employees were Martin Novák a Radek Tomšů.

Jested announces: We are ready

Preparations at ski jumping venue Jested run at full speed as everybody works to make the venue ready for the coming FIS World Ski Championship that will be carried out from 18th February until 1st March 2009. Lukáš Týfa is the manager of the venue.
